Duane Barnes is an accomplished senior executive with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the cloud and managed services business. He currently holds the position of President of RapidScale, a Cox Business Company, encompassing the acquisitions of RapidScale and Logicworks.

Having joined RapidScale in 2016 as head of the Solutions Engineering group, Barnes swiftly rose through the ranks, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. His tenure saw him assume pivotal roles such as Senior Vice President of Technology and interim Chief Technology Officer, before eventually being appointed Chief Operating Officer in June 2020. Subsequently, he assumed his current role as President, where he directs a multifaceted portfolio encompassing Operations, Technology, Product Management, Cybersecurity, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

Barnes' extensive expertise extends across diverse domains within IT, with a particular emphasis on enterprise data centers and managed cloud services. Prior to his tenure at RapidScale, he held key leadership positions at organizations such as Intelisys, Open-Xchange, Windstream, and The Walt Disney Company, building a solid foundation in complex technology solutions and managed services projects. His breadth of knowledge encompasses private and public cloud computing, cybersecurity, and professional services.

Complementing his wealth of experience, Duane Barnes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Phoenix. His unwavering commitment to excellence and proven track record make him a highly respected leader in the field of technology and business management.

As Chief Operations Officer, Claudette LeBlanc is responsible for all RapidScale operations, including service delivery, support, architecture, professional services, managed services, procurement, and project management. She joined the RapidScale team in 2022 as Senior Director of Operations.

LeBlanc, who began her professional career as a trigonometry teacher, contributes over fifteen years of experience in various technical industries with a particular emphasis on customer operations. Most recently, she was the Director of Global Operations for Stats Perform, a sports tech firm based in London, where she built and led the Business Intelligence & Insights, Operations Learning & Development, and Customer Experience Operations teams. She previously led global strategy and learning functions at Amplify (first under ownership by News Corporation, then under Laurene Jobs’ Emerson Collective) and Revolution Prep. LeBlanc has earned degrees from both Loyola University New Orleans (in International Business, with a minor in Latin American Studies) and Technological University Dublin (Business Innovation and Digital Transformation) and holds certifications in both instructional design and business intelligence. She lives in the Raleigh area with her son.

Maureen Power Sweeny is a proven growth architect and enterprise transformation leader with more than 35 years of experience guiding global technology organizations through large-scale growth-oriented transformation. As Chief Revenue Officer of RapidScale, a Cox Business company, she leads the company’s go-to-market team including sales, marketing and customer success as RapidScale accelerates its growth across its hybrid private, public and on-premise  managed services, and AI-driven professional services portfolio.

A former IBM executive and five-time CRO, Maureen is renowned for building high-performance organizations that align strategy and execution to deliver systemic, sustainable growth. She brings deep expertise in scaling enterprise service businesses, driving operational excellence, and shaping customer transformation agendas that fuse technology modernization with measurable business outcomes.

At the center of her leadership philosophy is The Growth Helix™, a methodology she developed to help executive teams “rewire organizational DNA” for alignment, accountability, and growth.

Power Sweeny holds a degree in Business Administration & Computer Science from Manhattan College. She currently serves on the Exceptional Women’s Alliance and FirstBoard.io. Power Sweeny lives with her family in Los Angeles, California.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Jessica Maria leads RapidScale’s marketing organization. As a critical leader within the organization's Go-to-Market function, she owns shaping the company’s voice in the market, accelerating pipeline performance, and driving growth through innovative go-to-market strategies.

Maria joined RapidScale in 2024 to lead the company’s channel, field, and event marketing functions. She was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer in 2025 in recognition of her impact and leadership. Her career spans two decades across nearly every facet of B2B marketing, with a consistent focus on technology and channel.

She began her professional journey as editor of The Channel, a technology trade publication based in Auckland, New Zealand, and has since worked with leading organizations and clients across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Maria is a graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and holds a graduate certificate from the University of Denver’s Publishing Institute.

A multi-year CRN Woman of the Channel awardee, she is also a two-time recipient of the Channel Marketing Association Visionary Award. In 2018, she was named to the North Bay Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list.

A seasoned leader with extensive experience in commercial software development and IT operations.

Bryan Krieger has a long history of leading software development teams and managing enterprise-scale IT operations teams. He has worked in various roles and domains, ranging from Microsoft to SaaS startups, and has demonstrated his ability to deliver innovative solutions and drive strategic vision.

As the CTO, Krieger oversees the technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap of RapidScale, a leading provider of cloud computing and managed services. He is responsible for ensuring the alignment of the technology vision with the business goals and customer needs, as well as fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the engineering and operations teams.  He also leads the software engineering team that builds the next-generation products and services for RapidScale, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and security.

Prior to becoming the CTO, Krieger was the software engineering director at RapidScale, where he led the development and delivery of the cloud platform and applications that power RapidScale's solutions. He also managed the software engineering team, ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of the products.

He successfully launched several new features and enhancements, such as the RapidScale Portal, the automation and orchestration platforms that improved the user experience and increased the value proposition of RapidScale.

Before joining RapidScale, Krieger was the CTO and CIO at two SaaS companies, where he oversaw the technology vision, strategy, and execution. He led the software development, IT operations, and product management teams, and delivered cloud-based solutions for various industries and markets.

Krieger started his career at Microsoft, where he spent over 15 years in multiple roles and divisions. He was a senior director managing global IT operations teams, and a principal program manager in the Visual Studio Developer division. He was involved in several projects and initiatives, such as the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, the Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, and the Microsoft 365 suite. He also led the transformation and modernization of the IT infrastructure and processes, and improved the efficiency and productivity of the IT teams.

A native of Seattle, Krieger resides with his family in Durham, North Carolina. As of March 2023, he now serves as Chief Technology Officer.

As Chief Information Security Officer, Brent Neal leads RapidScale’s cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management programs. He brings more than 20 years of experience building and advancing security strategies that reduce risk, enable compliance, and support growth across regulated and high-growth industries.

Prior to RapidScale, Neal served as a fractional CISO for SaaS, manufacturing, and PE/VC-backed organizations, where he delivered measurable improvements in security programs, audit success, and overall resilience. He previously held executive security roles at Allscripts (now Altera Digital Health), Global Growth, Accutrac, and Intelligent Solutions & Technologies, where he directed multinational teams to establish strong governance, mitigate enterprise risk, strengthen customer trust, and enable secure business growth. Neal resides in Raleigh, NC.

Jason McKay has worked in technology for over 25 years, starting at a local New York City ISP, continuing on to consult, and then having an 18-year career at Logicworks, most recently as Chief Technology Officer. At RapidScale, Jason is the Chief Solutions Officer, responsible for a suite of solutions from traditional network technology to advanced cloud and AI/ML offerings. Having spent most of his career in New York City, Jason now resides in the Seattle area where he can often be found working from a boat in the Puget Sound.

Joe Mathews is a commercial, growth-oriented CFO with experience building finance teams across private equity-backed, publicly traded, and strategic-backed companies. At RapidScale, Mathews leads the company's financial and business operations, with an emphasis on planning and analysis, accounting support, corporate reporting, and business intelligence. Mathews and his team partner with RapidScale's senior leadership to develop strategic plans and ensure resources are allocated in alignment with the company's ambitious growth objectives.

Mathews joined RapidScale in 2023 from New York City-based Logicworks, where he led financial planning and analysis since 2017. Prior to Logicworks, he held various finance and planning roles at Technicolor SA in Los Angeles, CA.
