The challenge

The process was difficult to scale and placed additional pressure on staff while creating a need for a more efficient approach that maintained accuracy, security, and healthcare compliance.

 

The solution

RapidScale worked closely with D&G Medical Associates to design and implement Document AI, an AI-driven solution powered by Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (formally Vertex AI). Through collaborative discovery sessions and ongoing clinician feedback, RapidScale developed a workflow that automatically ingests and processes large volumes of patient documents, extracts and summarizes relevant clinical information, identifies ICD-10 coding insights, and delivers easy-to-review reports for care teams. The solution was supported by a secure multicloud ecosystem that included Google Cloud, virtual desktops. Google Workspace and Microsoft technologies, giving D&G a singled trusted technology partner for infrastructure, security, and AI innovation.
